Do you offer warranties on gutter replacements?

We offer a 10-year workmanship guarantee. And our suppliers provide a 20-year manufacturer’s warranty on guttering.

How long does a standard gutter replacement take?

A normal job with good access can be completed in one day. This includes downpipes and site clean-up. However, this can vary depending on the weather.

Can I just replace a section and not the entire gutter?

You can replace just a small section of guttering. If it’s just one section that’s corroding, it’s usually a result of incorrect installation and water ponding in one area. We recommend installing a new system or adding an additional downpipe to that low spot to avoid future repairs. Otherwise your gutters turn into a money pit.

We can also remove a quarter of the gutter and re-establish the correct levels. That repair is costly due to the materials used and time involved. So, we recommend a full gutter replacement for longevity and value for money.

How much does it cost for a gutter replacement?

On average you should budget between $60-$80 a linear metre for supply and install of your new gutter system. However, all jobs are unique due to the site access.

A gutter installation on a cliff face is going to be more expensive than a standard flat block. If you are on a block of land with site boundaries under 1.2 metres we cannot set up our trestles. This will require a full height scaffold being built to complete the project. Each of these elements will add to the cost of the project.

Do you take away the rubbish?

Our crew follows a three-step clean-up process. All waste and debris are removed from site at the end of the job.

What happens if there’s a bad weather forecast or occurring during your guttering work?

Being roofers for over three generations means that checking the weather forecast has become a ritual. It’s the first thing we do when we get up. And it’s the last thing we do before going to bed.

Unfortunately, due to the very nature of your gutters being a rain harvesting system it becomes impossible for us to complete your gutter installation in the rain as we cannot seal the joints properly, which leads to a sub-standard installation. Therefore, our process is to let you know that our technicians will not be attending the property and we will arrange for them to be there on the following day weather permitting.
