The Fortified Roofing Group was engaged to carry out the metal roof replacement, and the owners chose a Colorbond roofing system in the color Dune. This decision was made to enhance the look and style of the property, while also providing an anti-corrosive and low-maintenance solution that would withstand Brisbane’s weather conditions. The roofing system was completed with the installation of new colonial-style guttering in Dune, adding to the overall aesthetic of the property.

One of the biggest issues with the old roof was the uncomfortably hot temperatures inside during summer. To address this, the Fortified Roofing Group installed new anticon roof insulation to improve the thermal efficiency of the building. This has now made the home much more comfortable and liveable, especially during the hot summer months.

In addition to the roofing and insulation installation, the Fortified Roofing Group also carried out a structural upgrade of the roof framework. This involved the removal of rotten battens and the installation of new steel battens, as well as the addition of additional tie downs to fortify the roof against future weather events. The new roofing system is now more secure and can withstand even the harshest of weather conditions.
