Kallangur Asbestos Roof Replacement

OUR WORK IN ACTION

The Fortified Roofing Group recently completed an asbestos roof replacement project in Kallangur, north of Brisbane. The homeowners approached us after noticing black mould build-up in their ceilings and asked us to inspect their old asbestos roof. Our team of experts found small fractures in the roof that were letting in water, and we recommended removing the toxic asbestos roof and replacing it with a new colorbond roofing system.

We started by removing the old asbestos roof and replacing it with a new colorbond roofing system in Woodland Grey. This new roof provided maximum protection to the home and prevented the build-up of mould, while also providing a modern look to the property. Our team of experts installed the new roof with precision and care, ensuring that it would last for many years to come.

In addition to replacing the roof, we also replaced the guttering in the same Woodland Grey colour. We installed steel gutter mesh to avoid the constant maintenance that the homeowner was doing in cleaning out the gutter. This was due to a large established tree that was shading the property and causing leaves and debris to clog the gutter. The steel gutter mesh provided the homeowner with peace of mind and eliminated the need for regular gutter cleaning.

We also installed new anticon insulation as asbestos is a great insulator and the homeowners would have found the new roof uncomfortably hot without this included in the installation. The new anticon insulation provided additional protection and comfort to the homeowners and prevented the roof from overheating.

The homeowners were extremely satisfied with the asbestos roof replacement project we completed. They were impressed with our professionalism and expertise in completing the project in a timely and efficient manner. The new colorbond roofing system and the new guttering provided the homeowners with the peace of mind that their home was protected from the elements and would remain mould-free.
