Stafford Asbestos Roof Replacement

OUR WORK IN ACTION

The Fortified Roofing Group recently completed a comprehensive asbestos roof replacement project in Stafford Heights, on the north side of Brisbane. The homeowners reached out to us with concerns over the toxic material in their home and its potential impact on their young family.

In response to their concerns, we decided to install a new Colorbond roofing system, designed to not only provide a safer and more durable roof but also to improve the thermal efficiency of the home and lower electricity costs during the summer months. We also installed new guttering to better handle large rain events, ensuring the safety and comfort of the homeowners.

As with all our asbestos roof replacement projects, we strictly followed OH&S guidelines and placed a strong emphasis on safety. Additionally, we upgraded the roof framing by installing new structural tiedowns, as recommended by our engineering partner and building certification team.

Another important aspect of the project was the installation of a new insulated patio roof over the existing deck. The deck was becoming weathered and in urgent need of protection, and with the new roof, the homeowners can now enjoy the summer months on their deck overlooking the pool.

We received great feedback from the homeowners throughout the project, and their positive experience motivates us to continue delivering high-quality roofing solutions to the local community.
