Kelvin Grove Project – Metal Roof Replacement

OUR WORK IN ACTION

A metal roof can provide a durable and long-lasting solution for your home, but over time, it may become heavily corroded and require a replacement. That was the case in Kedron, Brisbane, where we recently completed a metal roof replacement project. The homeowner decided to upgrade their roof to a new Zincalume roofing system to ensure the safety of their home.

In addition to the metal roof replacement, we also installed low-front quad traditional gutters and 60mm Anticon roof insulation to improve the thermal efficiency of the home. These upgrades were made to enhance the overall appearance of the roof and bring it up to current code standards.

One of the challenges we faced during this project was the extreme roof pitch, which made access to the roof difficult. However, our team of experienced professionals was able to overcome this challenge and complete the job safely and efficiently. The threat of bad weather was another challenge, but our team was able to work quickly and effectively, ensuring that the new roof was installed on time and within budget.

Another highlight of this project was the installation of a traditional curved roof structure. Due to our extensive experience with traditional character homes, this was an easy task for us. The traditional curved roof structure not only adds to the aesthetics of the home but also provides added protection and stability.

In addition to the metal roof replacement and insulation upgrades, we also performed our standard structural upgrades to bring the roof up to current code. This included reinforcing the roof structure, replacing any damaged rafters, and installing new flashings and roof vents. With these upgrades, we ensured that the roof was not only beautiful but also safe and secure for the homeowner.

The end result was a stunning new metal roof that not only looks great but also provides enhanced protection and energy efficiency for the home. The homeowner was extremely satisfied with the work we completed, and we are proud to have been a part of this important project in Kedron, Brisbane.
