Metal Roof Installation in Sunnybank – A COLORBOND® Transformation

OUR WORK IN ACTION

Recently, the team at Fortified Roofing Group, previously known as OzRoofWorks, completed a crucial metal roof replacement project in Sunnybank, a picturesque suburb on Brisbane’s southside. The homeowners contacted us due to significant decay visible on their existing roof, urgently requiring a durable and long-lasting solution.

Metal Roofing Sunnybank

Understanding the urgency of the situation and the homeowners’ concerns, we swiftly mobilized our resources to Sunnybank. Our goal was not just to replace an aging roof but to enhance the home’s overall weather resistance and aesthetic appeal.

Colorbond Roofing Sunnybank

For this project, we chose COLORBOND® steel, widely recognized among roofing contractors for its resilience and performance in harsh Australian climates. Known for its durability, COLORBOND® steel is an excellent choice for areas exposed to salty air and high humidity, making it particularly suitable for Sunnybank.

Features of COLORBOND® Steel:

Durability: Highly resistant to corrosion, ensuring the roof remains robust for decades.
Weather Resistance: Engineered to withstand extreme weather, from intense sun to heavy rain.

Aesthetic Versatility: Available in a range of colors to suit any home style

Color Choice and Profile

The homeowners selected ‘Ironstone’ for the roof color—a deep, dark gray with subtle purple undertones that beautifully complements Sunnybank’s lush, coastal environment. This choice not only enhances the home’s curb appeal but also allows for great design flexibility, blending seamlessly with various exterior styles.

The corrugated sheeting profile of the COLORBOND® steel was chosen for its timeless look and compatibility with both modern and traditional architectures. This profile is not only aesthetically pleasing but also adds to the structural integrity of the roofing.
