The Fortified Roofing Group is proud to have completed a metal roof replacement project in the historic neighbourhood of New Farm in Brisbane. This job came to us from a property investor who was also a structural engineer and was very particular about the products used on their property.

The investor decided to install a Colorbond roofing system in shale grey and monument colonial-style guttering to keep in line with the classic features of the property. Another important decision was the inclusion of Earthwool ceiling batts and roof anticon to create a perfect combination of insulation that this beautiful old home deserved.

Being an inner-city property, the job presented a few challenges, including limited parking. We had to coordinate with our traffic control partners for delivery and also faced a challenge when a foam membrane had been sprayed over the existing roof, causing it to corrode and creating a dangerous environment for our installation team. However, with over 40 years of experience, the Fortified Roofing Group was equipped with the knowledge and expertise to complete the job with ease.

The metal roof replacement was a success, and the investor was pleased with the outcome. The combination of the Colorbond roofing system, monument colonial-style guttering, Earthwool ceiling batts, and roof anticon not only improved the appearance of the home but also added value to the property.
