Overcoming the Challenges of a Decramastic Tile Roof Replacement

Sunnybank is a beautiful suburb in Brisbane known for its sunny skies and warm weather. However, over time, even the best roofs can become damaged, leading to water ingress and corrosion. That’s why homeowners in Sunnybank are turning to roofing solutions that provide durability and energy efficiency.

Our team of roofing professionals recently completed a Decramastic tile roof replacement in Sunnybank, using Colorbond Deep Ocean corrugated roofing and Deep Ocean high-front square gutters. This project was a testament to our commitment to providing the best roofing solutions to homeowners in Brisbane.

The homeowner was facing several challenges, including water ingress into the roof and corrosion throughout the guttering system. Our team quickly assessed the situation and recommended a full roof replacement, using Colorbond Deep Ocean corrugated roofing and Deep Ocean high-front square gutters. In addition, we installed 60mm Anticon wool blanket insulation to improve the home’s energy efficiency.

The project was not without its challenges, including a non-functional hot water system that had a tree growing out of the back of the unit. We engaged our plumbing partners to remove the old tank and install a new ground tank, ensuring that the homeowner would have a reliable hot water system for years to come.

One of the key requirements for this project was to comply with certifier’s recommendations. Our team installed new steel battens and structural tiedowns, ensuring that the roof was not only beautiful but also safe and secure. Our goal is always to provide the best solutions for our clients, ensuring that their homes are protected and energy efficient for years to come.
